Dynamic Hold Downs

PRODUCT INFORMATION

JetAir’s dynamic hold down solution is the key component in being able to dry pouches and trays to an industry leading standard. It ensures dry pouches and trays every time. There is no need for an ancillary dryer as typically required for non JetAir pouch and tray drying systems.  

 

The dynamic hold down solution is used to enable high level drying of all the surfaces on a pouch or tray. It keeps product in place as it is conveyed through a JetAir drying system by applying light pressure. This allows the use of high air flow and pressure which results in typically unobtainable drying results. It is a motorized conveyance solution that consists of two conveyors. The first is a transport conveyor. The transport conveyor is designed with built in air knives and custom wear strips that do not impede air flow and allow drying of the bottom of products. The second is a hold down conveyor. The hold down conveyor is designed with built in air knives and a non-traditional belt system. This solution can be integrated within any JetAir Drying system.

The system is designed to dry containers in a mass flow conveyance orientation. It utilizes JetBlast AirKnives that dry through an open mesh conveyor belt to reach the bottoms of containers while using a hold down to keep product from being knocked over while drying the tops & sides. MassJet optimizes packaging lines by effectively drying containers without the need to divert to single-file. IONTWIST ALL-IN-ONE AIR RINSING

PRODUCT INFORMATION

The IonTwist inverts containers without the use of ‘container crushing’ back pressure or gravity.  The IonTwist uses motorized side  gripping technology to gently pick up containers from the conveyor line,  lifts, and inverts the container.  This is accomplished using the vertically space above the line. Finally it re-inverts containers (open side up), and then places them back down on the conveyor line. All of this using less than 15 feet of valuable line space.  

 

By inverting containers the IonTwist complete removal of foreign matter from the inside of the containers can be achieved. The cleaning process includes 3 parts, inversion, Ionization and vacuum. Inversion allows heavy particles that may be lurking in newly received containers to “fall out” into the debris collection box. With the use of forced ionized air debris and particles clinging to the inverted containers will become neutral fall out into the debris collection box. Finally the optional vacuum feature will vacuum any remaining particles from the debris collection box.  The Ion Twist operates at line speeds as fast as 1,000 containers per minute, (approx 200 ft per minute) 

 

When paired with the Ion3, the IonTwist is the most advanced and closely monitored Air Rinse system available today.
